BY TRAIN - Some of our visitors have said travelling by rail to Avignon or on to Nimes (if from the UK) was a great alternative to flying.
Eurostar is becoming a very popular way to come to L'Elzet. This last season many have said they preferred it, arriving at either Avignon (approx 6.5hrs) or the nearer train station of Nimes. Then make sure you hire a car from a company who provides them at the station.
In Summer Eurostar London St Pancras to Avignon is just 6.5 hrs direct, or up to 7.5 hours via Paris.
You can also load your car onto a train to Avignon and possibly Nimes.
